Discussion of how Reiki accelerates personal growth and transformation. |
Approximately ninety days after the First Attunement (which is time for cleansing and integration), one or two classes for further initiation and the powers keys. This teaches the student to perform ABSENTEE or REMOTE or DISTANT Reiki. The balance of about 70% of empowerment is attuned at this time. Symbolic color is Violet for Spirit: The Highest Vibration for Spirit (The Divine), benefits the aura.
It works deeply on the emotional and mental bodies to realign with natural balance. In this degree, the energy flow is expanded and higher in vibration than experienced in the First Degree.

As directed by the Reiki Masters who have ascended, this level of initiation is as follows:
The student must be so aligned with the Reiki Healing System that there is no question of the person's Heart, Mind and Spirit, their soul purpose is to be a Master. At least one year after the Second Degree, this may begin. This attunement is clearly affirmed by the Ascended Reiki Master. The learning and integration continues for about one year. Symbolic color White: purity, sanctity and holiness.
This level is recommended to students who want to teach this method to others. Requirement is the student has been practicing Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 for one full year, working on themselves and others.
Reiki III is NOT just a weekend seminar. It is a personal training and commitment that takes about a year (prior to being able to teach and attune others). This builds a relationship between the Master and the student and a respect for the Original Usui technique.

BACK TO “THE” TRADITIONAL REIKI BASICS
· INFINITE DIVINE is the Epicenter (Source) of ALL THAT IS. Love, Wholeness, Balance, and Understanding. All forms of Energy, Life and Creation come from this Radiance.
Before Buddha, Jesus and Allah…THE SOURCE of All constantly gave Love to all. Very simple but as we have grown, taken on human form and experiences…we have drifted a bit, away from The Divine Source.
When Traditional Reiki was re-discovered by Dr. Usui’s INTENT to understand how Jesus did his Healing, on that quest, the information was brought forth for our conscious development as to how we can re-connect to that “Loving Spiritual Energy” that serves all.
In Traditional (Spiritual) Reiki: We state (Beginning Mantra) we accept we are Divine Spirit Beings, choosing to accept the constant Divine Energy, “called Reiki”…a balancing vibration. We step aside from our physical, mental and emotional being at that specific time to call to ourselves and/or channel to another. We become CLEAR CHANNELS FOR THIS SPECIFIC VIBRATION.
If one chooses to meditate (go within to be still with our individual Divinity), The Infinite Divine radiant Love shares all knowledge. Divine Source is Pure Spirit, does not have a physical form... therefore ALL radiance, knowledge, and LOVE; IS PURE SPIRIT!
We as humans with mental (reasoning function) complicate the connection, through religion, fear, generational teaching, mentally…needing to be “IN CONTROL”. Humans cannot control The Divine, we allow this Pure Wholeness to flow to us and through us.
Every spirit has access and the birth right to “talk with, work for and channel, Divine Source”, whether you call that Source God, Great Spirit, Allah…
In our physical, emotional (ego) and mental beings...we all have gifts and talents, that MUST be set aside, while we call upon Dr. Usui and The Ascended Masters to work with us or through us with Traditional Reiki. Our earthly gifts/talents are momentary tools for recognition of the imbalance of others at some point in time.
As Traditional Reiki Practioners, we can ONLY FIX OR BALANCE OURSELVES, WE ACT AS DIVINE ENERGY CONDUITS OR CHANNELS FOR OTHERS.
When placing hands on our chakras or in the field of another’s chakra, it takes 6 minutes to balance or totally fill a chakra. That’s it! WE DO NOT FIX OTHERS, we are delivery spirits for The Highest Balance of another. We bring to the spirit of another, balance; that is then infused into the mind, emotions and physical body by the other (the person requesting Reiki) or the animal we serve.
At NO TIME do we ‘GIVE OUR PERSONAL ENERGY’ OR ‘TAKE UPON THE ENERGY OF ANOTHER’. This is a totally spiritual restoration and we have chosen to be the channel.
Learning Traditional Reiki is a spiritual awakening for most American’s. We learn to recognize our own imbalances, how they have affected our total being and what steps we can take to release and rebalance ourselves.
To start by balancing ourselves gives us understanding, working for others is a chosen INTENT to serve Divine Wholeness.
A very important thing for me during the Reiki training is the fact that it be held in a warm, relaxed setting and in an atmosphere of harmony, closeness and acceptance among the students, while still having fun. My classes are usually private or semi private, class fee is the same for both. My goal is to answer every question, without judgment, no matter how "silly, funny, or strange" a question might seem. This is not a mystery, miracle or a religious belief but rather a wonderful balancing method and natural learning experience.
I believe that it's also important to have lots of hands-on experiences and practice in order to feel comfortable and to continue with what you learn in class. Every workshop (Levels I, II, and III) has practice time with a fellow student or a volunteer. Follow-up practice sessions (after the workshop) are also available.
